Death toll from Covid-19 in Ethiopia surpasses 5,000; US Embassy donates 302,400 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines

– The total death toll from Covid-19 has exceeded 5,000. The Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced in its 24-hour updates the number of people who have died of coronavirus and are infected with the coronavirus. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the total number of people who have died from the virus in Ethiopia has exceeded five thousand.

A total of 5,001 people have died, 34 of them in the past 24 hours. The number of people infected with the virus is increasing daily, and 1,664 people have tested positive in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said.

The number of cases in the intensive care units (intensive care units) has also increased dramatically; 783 people are currently admitted to intensive care units.
