Detectives from the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Directorate (DCI) picked the suspect up from his home in Embulbul, Ngong, Kajiado County on Tuesday evening.
The businessman was identified as one of the people involved were seen with Ms. Wambua after interrogating two other suspects arrested Thursday last week.
Benjamin Saitoti and David Sempuan had introduced themselves to officials and elders at Nyumba Kumi in Kerarapon, Ngong said would have seen Ms. Wambua living where her body was found.
The elders immediately notified the DCI, which arrested Mr. Saitoti, a Bodaboda rider in the area, and Mr. Sempuan, a shepherd .
During interrogation, the two said they had seen a man with Ms. Wambua and even talked to them before they left around 5 p.m. That was March 12th, the day the former journalist left her job at Ardhi House in Nairobi, never to be seen alive again.

Kiambu Chief Justice Patricia Gichohi has given DCI permission to hold all three suspects to give them time to investigate the case until April 26th, pending the matter is checked.
