Uhuru to give State of the Nation Address on November 30

President Uhuru Kenyatta has scheduled the State of the Union address in a joint session of Parliament for November 30th.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Justin Muturi, informed MPs about the planned speech during the plenary session on Tuesday.

The president is expected to take stock of his government’s milestones and present his plan for the final year in office before the parliamentary elections in August 2022.

The MPs will leave for their long break on December 2, so the address is scheduled to take place on Tuesday rather than the traditional Thursday.

“The secretary is hereby instructed to make arrangements for members to attend the special meeting meet, ”said Muturi.
