2023 Presidency: Hundreds of Yobe North Youth Rally in Support of Senator Lawan –

Hundreds of people have declared their support for Senate President Ahmad Lawan’s presidential ambitions

They said the rally was organized by youth to show appreciation and support for the effort by Senator Ahmad Lawan

Hundreds of youth from all parties marched in Gashua today — the hometown of Senate President Sen Ahmad Lawan drummed support for his presidential aspirations under the ruling All Progressives Congress ( APC)

The youth, waving APC placards and flags, started the rally of support from the intersection of the Department of Labor in Gashua and went around all the city’s main streets. The rally was also attended by people from surrounding local governments. The youth, who waved placards showing Senator Ahmad Lawan’s many accomplishments as a legislature, as well as the many development projects he supported in Yobe’s northern Senate district, called on Nigerians to support his quest for Nigeria in 2023 to be an able leader to give.

“Senator Ahmad Lawan is well qualified and is the leader Nigeria needs. He has the leadership experience and track record of patriotism and commitment to the well-being of all Nigerians. We support his aspirations today because we believe Nigeria needs his leadership,” said Bukar A. Bukar, one of the youth who attended the rally.

In the Palace of Emir of Bade Alhaji Abubakar Umar Suleiman, one of the youth leaders, Hassan Bulama, told the monarch that the rally was organized by youths to show appreciation and support for the aspirations of Senator Ahmad Lawan, whom he has appointed due to his experience as Am best suited to lead Nigeria as a teacher and legislator, holding his people’s mandate in the National Assembly since 1999. He also listed the development projects that have been attracted to Yobe State and the North Senate District of Yobe, particularly due to Senator Ahmad Lawan’s commitment to development.

Sen. Ahmad Lawan – the current Senate President is one of the leading presidential contenders in the APC and is traveling across the country seeking support ahead of the upcoming presidential primary, which is scheduled for the weekend.

Meanwhile, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has responded to claims and unverified reports that Senate President Ahmad Lawan has dropped his presidential candidacy in favor of other hopefuls like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Speaking on the issue via his Facebook page on Sunday, May 22, the Senate Chief Conductor urged Nigerians and party members to stop the viral reports to be ignored.

Kalu said he and other APC delegates were still in Kano as of 1:00 am Sunday while Lawan held deliberations ahead of the presidential primary.
