A federal high court in Abuja ruled Thursday, June 2, Friday, June 3 over the extradition proceedings initiated by the government led by President Muhammadu Buhari against Deputy Police Commissioner ( ACP) Abba Kyari.
The date was set by Judge Inyang Ekwo to allow Federation Attorney General (AGF) Abubakar Malami to file a formal response to Kyari’s complaint Release of primary appeal challenging jurisdiction of extradition request filed against him, reports The Nation.
Requested Malami asked court for permission to transfer embattled police chief to the extradite police to the United States for his alleged connection to international fraud suspect Abbas Ramon (aka Hushpuppi).
