Former Lagos State Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was visiting Owo, Ondo State, after terrorists killed worshipers at Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo, the headquarters of the local government von Owo, who had been attacked region, has donated a total of 75 million naira.
Specifically, the leading candidate for President of the All Progressive Congress (APC) donated the sum of 40 million N to the local government and N25 million to the Catholic Church among other things for the treatment of injured people.
The donation was presented on Monday 6 June by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in the Palace of Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, announced when the Tinubu came to pity the state.
