The Borno Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, paid a condolence visit to the grieving family from the late Brigadier General Dzarma Circushu in Kaduna on Wednesday November 17th.
During his visit, Governor Zulum expressed his condolences to demonstrate the release of N20m to the family.
Confirming this, Malam Isa Gusau, the governor’s spokesman, announced that the directive had been implemented immediately.
Gusau added that families of iers sold alongside General Z. irkushu died and support will also be received, reports Daily Trust.
Zulum was met at the airport by Kaduna State Commissioner for Homeland Security, Samuel Aruwan, and garrison commander of the One Division of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General T. Opuene.
The governor comforted the family and advised them to take comfort in the legacy of the deceased.
He went on to say that the government and the people of the state remain indebted to the killed military chief and the other soldiers who died with him.

Recall that an alleged Islamic State of West Africa (ISWAP) terrorist group killed on Saturday the 13th, Zirkushi, the commander of the 28th Task Force Brigade, Chibok Local Government Area, St aat Borno.
The terrorists killed the brave officer along with three other soldiers while they were on their way to reinforce the troops in the village of Bungulwa, near the Askira Uba municipality, which was subjected to multiple attacks on Saturday November 13th.
Chairman of the Senate Committee on the Nigerian Army, Senator Muhammed Ali Ndume, said Zirkusu was killed because he was the terrorists’ nightmare in the area.
