The film shows President Muhammadu Buhari and dignitaries who, in the canceled election of the 12th luminary, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, who along with Amb.Babagana Kingibe was also awarded a national honor as Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON).

With sections devoted to the canceled election, recognition process and development of Nigerian democracy, as well as the continued pursuit of its consolidation and national unity since independence in 1960, the documentary was shot exclusively in Nigeria and under directed by award-winning Nigerian-American Hollywood-based filmmaker Ose Oyamendan Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, the country’s first and only Prime Minister, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the republic’s first opposition leader, and Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Nigeria’s first president and Amb. Shehu Malami, nephew of Sir Ahmadu Bello and son of Sultan Abubakar III, when they captured the spirit of Nigeria’s independence day in 1960.
