Kaduna – A council member who elected for the Kinkiba district of Soba local government area in Kaduna, Abdul Adamu Kinkiba , was arrested with an AK-47 rifle while he was on his way to deliver the same to terrorists in one of the state’s deadly forests.
According to a report by Leadership Newspaper, Kinkiba was arrested by mobile police officers from the 47 MPF Squad operating along the Galadimawa Axis of the Giwa state local government area.
According to reports, he was suspiciously spotted on a motorcycle and stopped t f or interrogation.
According to a vigilante in the area, suspect Abdul Kinkiba said the gun was given to him by someone he refused to give his name and was to be delivered to another person, whom he claimed also did not know the name of.
The vigilante source said Kinkiba confessed to being asked to stop immediately after the bridge near Galadimawa Forest (a known hideout for bandits) and that someone will come out to get the gun from him.

Confirmation After the incident, Soba Municipal Council Chairman Engineer Suleiman Yahaya Richifa told the Daily Trust newspaper:
“I am very sad about the news, please allow me to get over my shock.”
The suspect has since been handed over to the Kaduna State Police Command for further questioning.
