The NCDC announced on Monday on its verified website that the number of cases in the country has continued to decline.
It found that no new additional case number had been recorded until June 20, adding that the update does not contain any data from the state of Lagos.
It says that seven more people were released from isolation centers across the country on June 20.
The agency added that with In addition, the country’s total number of discharged patients rose to 163,577 from 167,206 confirmed cases.
The NCDC said the country had also reported no new deaths related to the disease in the past 24 hours.
It added that a tier 2 activated multisectoral national emergency response center (EOC) continues to coordinate national response activities.
The NCDC said the country has so far provided 2,231,409 test samples since the outbreak of the country Pandemic in February 2020.
