Davido: May Your Generations Never Lack, APC Deputy Governor Prays for Singer

Obafemi Hamzat, the deputy governor of Lagos, prayed for pop star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, on Saturday, November 20, for his decision to donate N250 million to orphanages in Nigeria

On his official Facebook page, Hamzat stated that Davido and his r generation will never lack, because that is the share of the donors.

He quoted scriptures from the Bible and the Koran in his heartfelt prayer for the young singer.

Hamzat wrote:

“Davido, Givers Never want. May your generations never lack good success. Amine. Thank you and God’s blessings.

“Holy Bible: Is Chronicles 29, Proverbs 22: 9 and 19:17; Holy Quran: 9:71, 57: 7 and 21:73. “

< p class = "align-left"> Previously, Davido said that he will distribute the N201m that he has received from his friends, fans and business partners to orphanages across Nigeria. The father of three stated that he would add a whopping N50 million to the money he received.

Noting that he received a total of N201 million the singer said it wasn’t in the expectation of getting as much as the issue began with him and his friends as a joke.

Davido said that The money he received showed him that his influence on the lives of others was valued.

The pop singer noted that spending the money doesn’t mean that he doesn’t need it from assurance that there are people who need it more than he does.

The musician has listed the names of his five-member committee that will ensure that the money is distributed to all orphanages distributed in Nigeria.
