Eid-el-Kabir: Asiwaju Tinubu Sends Special Sallah Message to Muslims – Legit.ng

  • In a message he personally signed , the hopeful presidential candidate urged all Muslims to be the guardians of their brothers and demonstrate the true spirit of Islam the Tinubu presidential candidacy ahead of the 2023 elections

All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigerian Muslims to demonstrate the true spirit of Islam.

Muslim himself, although he Married to Remi, a Christian, the former Lagos State Governor said:

“As we commemorate and celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, may we remember the true meaning of this holiday.

“More importantly, let’s keep str We must live our daily lives in accordance with the clear and beneficial message of this occasion. May I take this moment of gratitude to extend my sincere greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and around the world, as well as to people of other faiths and faiths.

“For his bountiful blessings and enduring love for humanity and For Assuring ourselves that good will always triumph over its opposite, we offer our greatest thanks and express our deepest gratitude to Almighty Allah, SWT Eid reminds us, our trust in the compassion and wisdom of Allah and to obey His instructions as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim. By his act, Prophet Ibrahim demonstrated true Islam and submission to Allah. Prophet Ibrahim understood that the ways and commands of Almighty Allah SWT are extremely life-giving and enlightening than the ways of men.

“Thus, while we celebrate Eid, let us d Take this moment to re-dedicate ourselves to greater adherence to the spiritually enriching commands of Almighty Allah SWT. We must show the true spirit of Islam in our lives and not just on these special holidays. The holidays are given to us not just as special moments to celebrate, but as a friendly reminder to try hard enough to become the people and nation we are meant to be.

“We stand as a nation facing great challenges. Most worrying is the spate of violent attacks on innocent Nigerians. We must stand against terror and injustice. These evils are forever beyond our faith. Those who perpetuate such inhumanity are doing so against Islam and all that it proclaims means.blockquote>

“To be true Muslims means to adhere to the principles of peace, tolerance, justice and charity. Our faith calls us to stand against those who commit evil and bring untold misery upon others. And we must forever remain obedient to the benevolent and life-affirming principles of our faith.

“Yes, there are those who seek to discredit this nation and Islam through their destructive and violent actions. They seek Playing brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor and religion against religion, they want to break the peaceful order of society, but Allah has put us here to build a better Nigeria by taking care of all its people and making them our brothers and sisters regardless of ethnicity, creed and region. This is what we will do. And no amount of malice or terror from any quarter will prevent us from fulfilling what Allah has commanded us.

“That’s why I ask you to keep believing in the great nation that Nigeria can be. Let’s avoid violence and those who cause and support it. Let’s not forget the poor and vulnerable among us. Let us show brotherly care and compassion, and succor those who cannot help themselves.

“This oath, we beseech Almighty Allah to protect the weak, feed the poor and give us the courage and wisdom to subdue and defeat those who seek to harm the innocent and harming this nation.”

“We pray for our brave soldiers and other security agents who sacrifice themselves daily to confront violent evil. Let us also remember in our prayers President Muhammadu Buhari, our governors and other leaders to find the wisdom and strength to face the challenges this country faces so that together we may enjoy the benefits of a better Nigeria.

“We pray for a larger nation and society , where the light of democracy, peace, prosperity and hope shines on and for us all and the darkness of poverty, violence and hatred for is always banished. Let us pray Nigeria be faithful and stay true to its great calling and destiny.”

Eid-El-Kabir: Nigerian Governor Approves 10-Day School Break

The Kano state government has approved a 10-day Eid-el-Kabir Sallah break for all public and private elementary and secondary schools in the state.

A statement Aliyu Yusuf, who was released by the state education ministry spokesman on Wednesday, July 6, said the break would begin from Thursday, July 7 to Sunday, July 17.

Yusuf urged parents/guardians of students at the schools to follow the policy.
