First Lady of Lagos State Commends Indomie’s CSR Commitments as Brand Hosts 100,000 Kids on Children’s Day – Legit.ng

Dufil Prima Foods Plc, makers of Nigeria’s leading noodle brand Indomie Instant Noodles, has once again demonstrated its commitment to Nigerian children by hosting a fun party for school children as part of the activities celebrating Children’s Day 2022.

The Pannigerian Children’s Day Celebration involves over 100,000 children from different schools in different parts of the country and was present at the issuance of the First Lady in Lagos from Lagos State, Dr . Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

The children took part in dance competitions and quizzes aimed at stimulating their intellectual thinking. The children also enjoyed other fun and exciting activities such as bumper cars, carousel, rockets, pirate ship, spinner, teacup, disco ride, air bike, cartoon shows, cultural performances and face painting; all in an effort to deepen the social interactions between them.

At the Lagos event, Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo, the special guest of the event and wife of the Lagos-Olu State Governor, who was thrilled to be with the children, praised Dufil Prima Foods’ business commitment for their child-friendly attitude and also for helping the Nigerian children gave the opportunity for an unforgettable children’s day in different cities of the country. “It is clear that since Dufil Prima Foods started producing Indomie pasta and other products 26 years ago, the company has consistently celebrated Children’s Day with a range of activities.”

Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, while singing popular children’s songs with the children, enumerated the benefits of protecting the interests and visions of today’s children as they are tomorrow’s adults who would hold many positions in medicine, agriculture and politics, and Engineering currently occupied by adults.

While addressing the children, the first lady said, “As your parents and guardians, we count on you a glorious future. You have a responsibility to repay your parents’ trust and investment in you with an unwavering commitment to excellence and the best of character. Congratulations to all our children in Lagos State and Nigeria on another Children’s Day celebration.

While the kids are having fun, they’re also connecting with the brand while participating in educational activities.

He further added: “After the COVID-19 lockdown, this is our premier Children’s Day event to celebrate the Nigerian child. We want kids to know that education is key, which is why we engage them through educational games. Our message to Nigerian children is to keep showing love which is at the heart of Indomie’s themed campaign. This is almost the third generation of Indomie children since it started in 1996 as some are now parents. Indomie is always with them, either as children or as parents. We are grateful to the First Lady of Lagos State, the mother of all children in Lagos State, for taking the time to spend time with her children in Lagos State despite her busy schedule.”

According to IFC National Coordinator Ms. Faith Joshua, “The Indomie Fan Club initiative is without a doubt an innovative corporate social responsibility project aimed at providing children with education and Providing fun, thereby enhancing our children’s learning through several extracurricular activities for children aged 4-12. Established in 2005, the Indomie Fan Club has grown by leaps and bounds, offering children the opportunity to participate in various exciting activities such as singing competitions, craft competitions, field trips, road safety awareness, team bonding and children’s parties, among others.
