Gunmen Order Residents To Observe Sit-At-Home Over Buhari’s Visit To Ebonyi – Legit.ng

Enugu – Residents in south-eastern Nigeria were by a gang of armed men to observe sit-at-home ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s scheduled visit to Ebonyi state on Thursday, May 5.

President Buhari’s gunmen have been identified as demanding the release of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from DSS custody.

Meanwhile, the President has arrived at Alamo Ibiam International Airport Enugu for a two-day working visit en route to Ebonyi.

As As The Nation reported , Buhari was appointed by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu and his, among other government officials Received Ebonyi counterpart David Umahi.

The President is expected to commission many projects executed by the Umahi-led government.
