The pregnant woman’s husband Jubril Ahmed, a woman killed along with their four children by the outlawed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), said he was devastated by the horrific incident.
Jubril, who works as a security guard in Anambra state, told the Daily Trust that his wife was nine months pregnant and the family was expecting a new baby within the week they were killed.
According to him, this sad development has left him helpless and made hopeless, and he adds that he has lost everything in this world.
“I have lost everything in this world . My wife and four children are all gone just like that. It’s the worst thing anyone would experience.”
Jbril explained how it happened, adding:
“They came home after she was visiting her sister who lived in the nearby town.She and the four children were all wearing hijabs, so they were attacked by the gunmen.
“As I speak to you, I am about to find myself to recover their bodies. The police have given me some documents that I will use to collect the bodies. I am in the morgue now, they are asking me to pay N30,000 before releasing my family’s bodies.
< blockquote>“My hope is to take the bodies to the community area of Ganye, Adamawa State and bury them because the cemetery that the Arewa community uses here is already full.”

The devastated husband n gave his late wife’s name as Harira Jibril, 32, and their four children as Fatima, 9; Khadija, 7; Hadiza, 5; and Zaituna, 2.
“I have no one now; They wiped out my entire family. I am so worried and traumatized that the government needs to do something.”
Forum of Northern Elders Condemns Killing of Northerners in Anambra
