‘I Am Concerned and Saddened’, Atiku Reacts, Reveals Real Cause of Kuje Prison Attack –

“I would like to reiterate what I said to THISDAY Newspapers on Monday, that our inability to establish a law and order regime that prioritizes the arrest and prosecution of criminals to deter copycats of the Reason why the insecurity in our country continues to fester. -AA”

Nigerians react

Nigerians went to PDP’s Facebook page- standard-bearer and responded to Atiku’s statement.

Some blamed him, while others agreed with his position.

Kuje prison break: I’m disappointed in you, Buhari reacts angrily, tells the security authorities what to do

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his disappointment with the intelligence system following the terrorist attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje.

The Nigerian Correctional Service has debunked reports that suspended Deputy Police Commissioner Abba Kyari fled during the terrorist attack on Kuje Prison on Tuesday 5 July in the Federal Capital Territory.

Shortly after the nighttime attack on one of Nigeria’s top prison facilities, reports leaked to the media that some high-ranking prisoners, including Kyari, escaped during the attack.

However, speaking to, spokesman for the NCS, Umar Abubakar said the report was misleading.
