An open letter was written to Bola Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos. The letter was written by Ayo Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti.
In the letter, posted on Twitter on Monday, June 6, Fayose said his views were speaking out the perspective of a Yoruba man and not as a politician.
Fayose said the All Progressive Congress (APC)’s leading presidential candidate is swimming against the current of the cabal in his party.< /p>< p class="align-left">The letter read:
“I am writing based on my observed views and the potential dangers they pose to your good self towards tomorrow,” the letter reads Letter.
“I have read the reactions of your political allies in both the North and the South alike. The reactions made me very concerned for you and your life. Again I see danger!
“As the knowledgeable history student that you are; our late great sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and the celebrated winner of the June 12, 1993 general election; Alhaji Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, were led to Calvary by self-proclaimed “democracy advocates”. I’m sure the same people will advise you to ignore my advice.
“From the handwriting which is clearly on the wall now, if I may comment, sir, I see you as someone You could swim against the political tide of the cabal in your party. They equally prepare for your actions and reactions, and are ready to contain the same as they did with Awolowo and Abiola.
“Unfortunately your kingdom has been badly balkanized when what happened in Abeokuta , meaning something by.”
Fayose therefore advised Tinubu to consider a verse in the Bible – “Proverbs 22:3” – which states: “Prudent people will see trouble coming and avoid it, but unwary people will work into it.”
Tinubu donates 50 million to Owo, 25 million to the Catholic Church
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the Former Lagos State Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was visiting Owo, Ondo State, after terrorists carried out attacks on worshipers at Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo, Owo County Headquarters, has issued a total su mme of 75 million naira donated.
In particular, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading the presidential elections Pirant among others donated the sum of N50 million to the local government and N25 million the Catholic Church for the treatment of the injured.
The donation was announced by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu at the Olowo Palace of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye on Monday June 6th as the Tinubu came to show their sympathy to the state.
