Iftar: Rare Photos Reveal Foods President Buhari Eats At Break Of Ramadan Fast –

Due to privacy concerns, Nigerians cannot see some of President Muhammadu Buhari’s activities, including how and what he likes to eat, especially when he breaks a religious fast.

But thanks to a Presidential Media Advisor who happens to be a namesake, Buhari Sallau, some photos of what the President ate to break the Ramadan fast on the evening of Wednesday April 20th, are now public domain.

Buhari shared said photos of his director receiving senior members of the National Assembly to break the fast at the State House Wednesday.

The dishes come in a range of so-called appetizers, as they are light and as such cannot fill the stomach of a person who has just broken the fast.

As seen in the photos shared, they are bananas, apples, berries, bo Chicken cake (called Akara in Yoruba and Kose in Hausa) and water bottles r.

Among those attending the dinner were Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary of the Federation Government, Boss Mustapha , and Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege.

Also present were Chief of Staff Ibrahim Gambari and Femi Adesina, another media assistant to the President.

Meanwhile, Buhari had joined Muslim believers across the country to mark the beginning of Ramadan Tafsir, the interpretation and explanation of the Qur’an.

In another report said All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chair Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and around the world on the start of the holy month of Ramadan.

Tinubu made the call through a statement by his media adviser Tunde Rahman signed in Lagos, calling on devout Muslims to show more love, empathy and understanding towards their fellow human beings in society.
