Owerri – Imo information officer Declan Emelumba says that the state government will announce that the state government will announce President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, September 9th. September in Owerri.
The Nigerian news agency reports that President Imo is to pay a working visit to inaugurate some government-run projects.
Emelumba said the president would inaugurate important projects over the past 18 months by governor Hope Uzodimma have been initiated.

“His visit would allow Imo citizens to see and greet the president firsthand.”
The state capital, Owerri, is already wearing a new look, especially on strategic routes that lead to the locations of the projects to be inaugurated.
The roundabout in front of the government building will be reconstructed, major roads are being repaired and cleaned, while the road dividers are being painted.
Imo government takes action against banks
The Guardian reports that the Imo state government has sealed several banks in the state for violating the order of the indigenous people of Biafra ( IPOB) in the southeast on Monday followed suit that they are sitting at home.
According to the report, the development resulted in hundreds of bank customers being stranded and their respective transactions not could perform more.

APC Group asks Buhari to elect Igbo President
In the meantime, All Progressives Congress ( APC) Group, Southeast Mandate (SEM) has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to facilitate the process of nominating a presidential candidate from trusted members of the party in the region ahead of the 2023 general election.
The group also urged other political parties in Nigeria to surrender their presidential ticket to the Southeast in the spirit of justice, justice and a clear conscience.
