FCT, Abuja – Fatima Buhari, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly been appointed a member of the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiners of Nigeria (CIFCFEN).

The Cable reported that the investiture was recently held at the ANAN House in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja .

In her remarks, Ms. Buhari thanked the institute for being worthy of her appointment and promised to justify the trust placed in her, reported The Nation .

A statement issued by the institute states that Ms. Buhari holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; Postgraduate Studies in Accounting and Finance from Stratford College of Business and Management UK; Masters in Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University, UK; and Master in Human Resource Management from the University of Northampton, UK.

She is also a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

CIFCFEN was founded by ANAN to provide core professionals in the specialist areas of forensic accounting and fraud investigation in Nigeria.
