This is contained in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Science, Technology and Innovation, Monilola Udoh, in Lagos on Friday, May 20, reported The Guardian.
Tutuwas According to Vas, his experience in scientific research and development would be a veritable tool to give FIIRO a further boost in the merger of renowned science, technology and research nations.

Tutuwa’s appointment takes effect on May 10 . 2022, with a five-year non-renewable term, The Nation also reported.
President Buhari reportedly appoints a new NYSC general manager
In a related development, President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly approved the appointment of Brigadier General Mohammed Fada as the new director general of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Fada from the state Yobe will succeed Maj. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, who has served two terms in office. An anonymous source confirmed the development on Tuesday, May 17.
“The federal government has appointed a new director general for the NYSC; He is Brigadier General Mohammed Fada from Yobe State.
“He was in NYSC Tuesday and was briefed by outgoing Maj. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim,” the source reportedly said.
President Buhari appoints new CG for Fire Department
Similarly, President Buhari approved the appointment of Abdulganiyu Jaji as the new Controller General (CG) of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), effective Friday, April 22
The approval was announced in a statement signed by Aisha Rufai, Secretary of the Civil Defence, Immigration and Prisons Service Board (CDIPB) in Abuja on Tuesday, April 26.
Prior to his appointment as CG, Jaji was Deputy Controller General (DCG) and was responsible for administration and material at the FFS.
