Port Harcourt City LGA, Rivers State – It was a blue one Day on Tuesday, October 5th, for the parents of two students who were killed by a ruthless truck driver on their way from school in Rivers state.
The Guardian reports, that the incident occurred at the flyover of Mile 1 in the local government area of Port Harcourt City of the state.
Though the information about the development at the time of filing this report was still unclear.
It was found that the truck loaded with goods was attempting to reverse when it passed over the duo drove, whose ages were estimated to be 12 and 13 and racked his brains, a report from The Punch also cites.
A source simply identified as Mackinson and a witness of the incident, said the unidentified students walked together when the truck crushed them.
“Me only noticed that the two students walked close together. It’s like they’re related. The truck driver rammed her. It happened under the overpass. ”
At the time of going to press, the police had not arrested the truck driver.

The 64-year-old man, who died on Tuesday, October 5th after a brief illness in his residence in Jalingo, represented the central Senate zone of between 1999 and 2007 Taraba.

In another development, Nigerian governors of the South-South Extraction are said to be in Port Harcourt for an important meeting in the government building of the State of Rivers.
While the agenda for the high-profile meeting has not yet been announced to the public, there is reason to believe that Them Issues such as value added tax (VAT) and the call for the southern presidency in 2023 will be among the topics of discussion.
Among the governors currently in Rivers for this purpose stopping are Godwin Obaseki, Ifeanyi Okowa and of course Nyesom Wike, the host.
