London Medical Trip: I Am Happy to Be Back Home, Says Bola Tinubu

Lagos – National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu thanks by god he brought him back to Nigeria safely.

The Nation newspaper reports that he spoke to a gathering at the State House in Marina, Lagos, about him at home welcome.

Tinubu has been out of the country for the past three months undergoing knee surgery had.

His words:

“I’m a bit emotional, but I’m happy to be back home. God is the giver of life and he alone can take it. ”

The governor’s wife, Ms. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and the deputy governor Obafemi Hamzat were present at the meeting ; his wife Oluremi; former Deputy Governor of Lagos, Ms. Idiat Adebule, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Spokesperson for Lagos, Mudashiru Obasa; Senator Olamilekan Solomon was also present at the event.

The prominent visitors to Tinubu in London

Except for President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje von Kano , and three others in the UK for personal reasons, 53 people were in London, mainly to visit Tinubu.

A newspaper report found that as ticket prices rose at least every visitor between N4 and N5 million would have spent on return tickets for First Class or Business Class to Great Britain, citing the findings of travel agencies.

That brought the money by those who visited Tinubu on N265m, the 53 politicians in addition to other hotel accommodation expenses in London, which were fed, among other things.

Meanwhile, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has his full support for the. declares Tinubu’s appearance as Nigeria’s president in 2023.

The governor expressed his support when speaking at the launch of the Southwest Agenda 2023 (SWAGA ’23), a campaign group who voted for Tinubu’s candidacy for the 2023 presidency, on Thursday October 7th.

He described the APC chief as a collectible figure and a beacon of hope for a progressive one Guided tour in Nigeria.
