Lone Anambra crash claims 2 lives – FRSC

The Corps’ Sector Commander, Mr Adeoye Irelewuyi, confirmed the accident to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN) in Awka on Monday.

Irelewuyi said the driver of the affected Nissan Caravan commercial bus with the registration number ACA 989 ZW, lost control of the vehicle after a blown tire.

“According to an eyewitness, the driver of the bus lost control due to a blown tire and an accident.


” With the affected vehicle it is a commercial bus that has 12 passengers – five male adults, five female adults, one male child and one female child taken to Nnadi Hospital and Infant Jesus Hospital, both in Ihiala.

“A female child and a woman were pronounced dead by the doctor on duty, whereupon their bodies were deposited in the Ark Angels morgue, Ihiala. “< / p>

Irelewuyi expressed her condolences to the families of the deceased and urged drivers to ensure that their vehicles were in good condition beforehand.
