My Deepest Sympathies, President Buhari Reacts to Death of Pastor Dare Adeboye

– Nationwide reactions have followed the death of Pastor Enoch Adeboye

– President Buhari and Atiku Abubakar has joined other Nigerians who sympathize with the Adeboye family.

– Pastor Dare’s sudden death saddened many citizens

President Muhammadu Buhari offered condolences to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

Buhari’s condolence message was included in a tweet about his official Twitter handle on Thursday, May 6th.

The president prayed for God to comfort the late pastor’s grieving family and friends. He also asked that Almighty God grant the departed rest.

He said:

” My deepest condolences to the family of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Overseer General of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) after the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye. I pray that God Almighty will grant the departed rest and comfort grieving family, friends, and co-workers. “

Likewise, a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, prayed for God to comfort and strengthen Pastor Enoch Adeboye over the death of his son.

Atiku tweeted:

My thoughts and prayers are with @PastorEAAdeboye’s family during this difficult time. I pray that God will comfort and strengthen him and his family through his mercy and grace. ”

In the meantime, Pastor Leke Adeboye reacted to the death of his brother Pastor Dare, when news about the incident was trending on Nigerian social media.

In a post on Facebook on Thursday May 6th, Leke quoted a Bible verse that indicated that righteous people are being taken away to be spared disaster and evil.

In another message the RCCG announced that it would organize an interdenominational day of prayer for Nigeria with 2 million men.

The event is expected on Sunday May 9th at the RCCG Central Parish, Wuse, in the federal capital territory, Abuja.

The Overseer General, Pastor Adeboye, and others are expected to anoint Ministers seize the opportunity.
