Names, Details of Woman, 4 Children Killed by IPOB Gunmen Revealed as They’re Buried in Anambra –

Anambra State – Suspected militants of the outlawed indigenous peoples Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) killed a pregnant woman, her four children and six others, all from northern Anambra state, on Sunday May 22.

Daily Trust reported that the pregnant woman and her children were killed in Isulo, Orumba North Municipality.

< p class="align-left">The newspaper noted that the killings were a new one low point in marked the increased attacks on non-Indigenous people by IPOB terrorists who are also attacking the symbol of authority including the police and military.

< p class="align-left">However, under the guise of the secessionist movement also killed indigenous people of Anambra state and the south-east in general.

Days after the killing of the northerners without provocation, Umar Mikail, a BBC Hausa journalist, explained that the name of the HARIRA Jibril killed is not Fatima as some newspapers reported.

Their four children are:

Another six people of northern Nigerian descent were found to have been killed over the weekend in the same Anambra state.

Meanwhile, HARIRA Jibril and her four children were buried in Anambra State at Daily Trust.

Sarki Kabiru Bakari, head of the Hausa community in Orunba, south of Anambra, said the bodies of the victims were recovered on Tuesday evening, May 24.

He said, however, that the plan was to take them to the funeral to their hometown of Adamawa was canceled because the bodies were not treated at the morgue and could not withstand the trip north.

Northern Elders Forum Condemns Murder of Norseers in Anambra

< p class="align-left">In anot In its report, the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has condemned the killing of Northerners living in the Southeast by IPOB gunmen.

The NEF called on the federal government to take decisive action to end the killings immediately.

NEF spokesman Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed also demanded that the northerners and even the people of the south-east must be protected from terrorist activities in the region.
