1. Caroline Agboola
Caroline Agboola is among the people who died in the attack.

Her husband died years before.
2. Veginus Nwani
Mr. Veginus Ani and his daughter Chidiogo died during the incident.
His first son was in church, but unharmed.
After the shooting, Mr. Veginus’ son took his younger sister to the hospital, who was still alive, but unfortunately her death was confirmed on arrival.< /p>
3. Chidiogo Nwani
Chidiogo Nwani died along with her father Veginus Nwanie. She was eleven years old.
Umunna and his son die from gunshot wounds during Sunday’s shooting.
After the shooting, the father and his son were covered in their own blood.
According to the BBC Pidgin, he tried to protect his son from the gunmen but unfortunately they both shot dead.
Umunna is said to own an electronics store in Owo.
5. Ozurumba Bridget
Mum Ozurumba Bridget also died during the attack.
Her son is currently in hospital fighting for his life after the Attack.
Your son was at church with his mother when the incident happened, she died during the attack.
6. Ms. Onuoha and Papa Onuoha
Mr. Onuoha and his wife died from gunshot wounds during the attack.
They were at church with their son when the shooting started, the boy was unharmed.
Mr. Onuoha was a gardener before his tragic death, while his wife was a small trader.

Meanwhile, on Friday June 11, Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu said the federal government had been hasty in blaming Islam State’s West African Province (ISWAP) for the Owo Church attack, Channels TV reports.
The governor said so in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, on Friday.
“The statement is too hasty. I take their conclusion with a pinch of salt. ISWAP does not hide their attacks,” the governor said r quoted interaction with Swiss-based Christian human rights organization, Christian Solidarity International (CSI) on Friday during a virtual session.

According to Reverend Father Andrew Abayomi, one of the church’s priests, the incident lasted about 20 minutes.
In the meantime Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has lamented the deadly attack and vowed not to rest until the criminals are apprehended.
