According to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello, daughter of Umaru Musa Yar ‘ Adua, Zainab, allegedly forged several documents to purchase controversial land in Abuja.
Bello said there were no documents to prove that the former president’s daughter was Has applied for land or made an official payment to the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) to give it any piece of land in the FCT, reports Punch.
The minister in A Joint Defense Statement The FCDA refused to assign Parcel 506, Zone B 09, Kado District, Abuja, to Zainab, The Guardian added.
During a Supreme Court hearing in Abuja, the minister alleged that the plaintiff had requested the acquisition of the said property by a former minister de r FCT made contradicting statements.
Add Bello and the authorities in their joint statement said that Zainab claimed ownership of the property through a power of attorney issued by a Haliru Malami.
Following these arguments, the presiding judge, Judge Olukayode Adeniyi, said on Tuesday, October 12th, allowing the plaintiff to amend her statement of claim and ruling the 15th and 16th. December for a final hearing of the case.
Remanded Aminu Yar’Adua not the son of the late President
