Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church has said that the attackers of St. Francis Church in Owo, Ondo State, were being punished for their crimes, reports The Punch.

After the attack, the renowned minister spoke during a homily on Wednesday, June 8 at the church’s headquarters, Ota in Ogun State, expressing his anger at the level of insecurity devastating the entire nation.

Bishop Oyedepo announced verdict on the killers of the attack in Owo, Ondo State

Oyedepo announced an immediate verdict on the killers and said that they would perish with their sponsors.

He said:

“The devil is very afraid of the church because God is in authority there people to rule in the midst of enemies. That’s why those vagabonds were out there in Ondo State to kill them.

“I can tell you, if they escape death, God didn’t send me. Your generation will smell, and the people who sent them will smell. They should be forgotten. Her camel’s back is already broken.

“All living are created by God. The whole gang from hell against the welfare of this nation has come under a curse. Curse be on all who carry out attacks in this country.”

Bishop Oyedepo condemned the government led by Buhari-Osinbajo

Condemning the government, he said:

“Do you know that there hasn’t been a reply yet? My god, killed 50 people? My God! This government is evil from head to toe. I knew it, I shouted it, this government is evil.”

According to Reverend Father Andrew Abayomi, one of the Priests at the church said the incident lasted about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has lamented the deadly attack and vowed not to rest until the criminals are arrested.

The leader of the Yoruba self-determination movement Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Prof. Banji Akintoye had responded to the terrorist attack in Ondo State.

He described the attack on Christian worshipers at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo on Sunday, June 5 by suspected terrorists Being Fulani herders as a declaration of war on the Yoruba people.
