The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has explained why she was Professor Hafsat Ganduje has arrested the wife of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
The Daily Trust reports that an employee of the Antigraft Agency announced that the Wife of the governor of Kano was arrested for interrogation because she refused to accept the earlier invitation. p>
After the barbecue by the Commission in Abuja, Hafsat returned to Kano by plane.
Abubakar Aminu Ibrahim, a Social- The governor’s media advisor has denied the allegation that Kano’s First Lady was arrested by the EFCC. On his Facebook page, Ibrahim claimed that the governor was responsible for a. traveled to Abuja to meet his wife and that the duo returned on Tuesday October 5th to chair the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting.

The first lady of Kano state had previously been arrested by the EFCC. Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s wife was arrested weeks after she failed to honor the agency’s invitation on a bribery and land fraud case reported by her son Abdulazeez Ganduje.
Sources in the Near Ganduee’s wife said she had traveled to the UK to attend her son’s graduation ceremony.
Commission staff interviewed the first lady in a petition from her own son Abdualzeez Ganduje on land fraud allegations.
A source speaking on condition of anonymity said the wife of the governor of Kano state was on Monday evening, October 4th , arrested.
Abdulazeez Ganduje is supposed to flee to Egypt after he reported his mother to the EFCC
Before that, the first son of Governor Ganduje is supposed to be with his Family fled to Egypt after he had exposed the alleged corruption of his mother.
Abdulazeez had dragged his mother Hafsat Ganduje to the EFCC for alleged corruption. The governor’s son left the country immediately after filing the petition to avoid the “wrath of his parents”.
