During the period under review, troops led a number of land and air operations various locations within the area of ​​responsibility of Operation HADARIN DAJI.

Within the period under consideration, several air strikes were carried out on bandit enclaves, which inflicted heavy losses on the bandits.

Troops have stepped up air patrols throughout the theater to deny bandits and other criminal elements freedom of action in the zone.

Troops carried out various land and air operations in their area of ​​responsibility at various locations. Some of these operations were conducted in villages and towns under Bassa, Bokkos, Jos South, Mangu, Riyom, Barki Ladi, Shendam and Jos North LGAs of Plateau State.

Other locations were located in villages and towns in the LGAs Jama’a, Kaura and Zangon Kataf in the state of Kaduna. In the course of these operations, troops amicably resolved conflicts between farmers and shepherds and prevented a bloody clash between two families over land disputes.

Operation WHIRL STROKE maintained the operational pace of both its kinetic and non-kinetic operations in the north central zone, which produced significant results -Operations carried out by troops at different locations in the operational area.

During this period, a total of 10 AK-47 rifles and 45 rounds of ammunition were recovered. In addition, a total of 7 armed bandits were arrested, 5 kidnapped civilians were rescued and 7 armed bandits were killed.

The military also stated that the activities of IPOB elements in the southeast have been drastic recently .

Brigadier General Onyeuko said the troops responded to emergency calls and recently carried out raid operations on some IPOB enclaves.

At the beginning of this month the Nigerian military arrested two logistics suppliers of Boko Haram terrorists in the state of Borno.

The female logistics suppliers were Ms. Aisha Umar 19 years old with one child ( 2 years) and Ms. Kaltumi Bakura 20 years.

The military stated that they were residents of an Internal Displaced Persons camp in the Bama area of ​​the state.
