The family of a 22-year-old student at the University of Ibadan, Samson Ajayi, are in despair after he went missing while leaving to work at a construction site in Im Ajah area, Lagos state.

The Punch reports that the incident occurred on Wednesday March 9, 2022 and the case was reported to the Ogombo Police Station.< /p>

Samson’s uncle, Taiwo Ajayi, said the victim was be i stayed with his parents in the Alagbado area of ​​Lagos state Strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Taiwo said:

“His colleagues called his mother to report his absence. On Thursday, March 10th, I and his mother went to the construction site. When we got there we called and searched everywhere but we couldn’t find him.

“Since his colleagues had not yet reported the case to the police, we decided to file a complaint with the Ogombo Police Station refund but We were told to come back the next day, Friday 11th March.

“We later wrote a petition to the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Mr Abiodun Alabi, who said that the Case should be turned over to State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.”

The family had hired a Lagos-based lawyer, Femi Falana, to investigate the matter, back then while the police had begun a detailed investigation.

State Police Public Relations Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin said:

“The case became the Ogombo Police Station and they started the investigation but because of the Er With the seriousness the case deserved, it was handed over to HQ for a thorough investigation.
