Makurdi, Benue State – The Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has asked President Muhammadu Buhari, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association To declare (MACBAN) designated as a terrorist organization.
The governor said in a statement released by his media advisor Nathaniel Ikyur on Thursday January 6th that the organization had vowed to chaos “In the state of Benue.
He placed states that while the federal government’s measures against bandits now appear strong, the security challenges only you will be adequately treated if a similar tough stance is taken on Miyetti Allah Kautal and the Fulani Nationality Movement (FUNAM).
Governor Ortom said the two groups had sworn and continued to wreak havoc in Benue state and other parts of the country over anti-willow laws.
