As the Sallah celebrations approached, a former Lagos state governor and presidential hopeful for 2023 under the All Progressive platform of The Congress, Bola Tinubu, has distributed 3,000 rice sacks to Muslim believers in Nasarawa State.
Tinubu, while distributing the rice sacks in Lafia on Friday, April 29, urged the beneficiaries to Rice not to be sold but to be used for its intended purpose as the G este also aims to improve their standard of living.
The Punch reports that the APC presidential candidate was promoted by Nasarawa State Coordinator Bola Ahmed Tinubu Asiwaju Campaign Organization, Yusuf Omaki , represented.
“This gesture is meant to remind the people, especially the less privileged in Nasarawa State, ahead of this year’s Eid el-Fitr celebrations.”

Meanwhile, the Nigerian government has proclaimed Monday, Dec Declared public holidays on May 2nd and Tuesday 3rd May to mark Labor Day and Eld el Fitr celebrations.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, April 28, announced accredited observatories to search for the moon at Shawwal 1443 Crescent on the evening of Saturday, April 30.
It also called for urges Muslims to search for the Crescent generally and report any sighting to the nearest court.
