Cotonou, Republic of Benin – Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka paid a visit to Yoruba nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Ighoho.
The visit was confirmed by Sokinya’s media office in Abuja, reports Channels TV.
Details of the meeting, which took place on Sun nday, May 1, are still unknown.
A picture shared online showed Igboho with Nobel laureate and leader of the Yoruba self-determination group, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Banji Akintoye.
The nation gathered that Soyinka around noon on Sunday around the Seme border, crossing to Cotonou, the capital of the Republic of Benin.
The literary giant is said to have been besieged by a crowd while waiting to clear immigration formalities
When asked where he was going, he reportedly replied, that he was on a visit to Igboho to “break the Muslim fast with him”.

Igboho released from custody
This comes around five weeks after the release of Ighoho from detention in the Republic of Benin was announced, he cannot leave the country despite his release.
