- A new update has surfaced in the murder case of 5-year-old schoolgirl Hanifa Abubakar, who was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by her owner Abdulmalik Tanko
- Suspect Tanko appeared before Judge Usman Na’abba of the Kano State Superior Court on Monday, May 9
- Tanko pleaded not guilty to all during the court session allegations against him, other than one bordering on conspiracy Sahara reporters gathered who accused him of having killed a 5-year-old schoolboy, Hanifa Abubakar.
Tanko, before Judge Usman Na’abba at the High Court in Audu Bako appeared, pleading not guilty to the murder charges against him.
Remember that n that 5-year-old Hanifer was reported missing, after which it was later discovered that her owner Tanko h er.
Tanko had received a ransom from the child’s parents demanded by N6 million and collected part of the money in the process, he was arrested.
He said:
“I’m not sure if I got the last person to see her alive because I spoke to someone else about it beforehand. I neither killed nor poisoned her. I let her sleep and came back to see her dead.
“Myself, the second and third defendants did not know how she died.”
As Tanko’s wife Jemila vs testified him court
Jamila Muhammad Sani, who appeared before the same High Court in Kano, confessed to the murder of Hanifa and testified against her husband, who is the alleged murderer.
Follow-up of her testimony prompted the court to grant her liberty and stated that she was innocent of the charges against her.
Father of a 5th child -year-old girl killed by her owner speaks in clip
In a recent video shared by @dailytrust, the heartbroken man tearfully told journalists that despite the sad incident can only thank God.

While explaining that he left God to take revenge, the deceased girl’s father added that it was an incident that he would take with him to his grave.
