TB Joshua: Why I Am Not Surprised by My Husband’s Death, Late Pastor’s Wife Opens Up

Ikotun, Lagos State – Ms. Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late founder of the Church of All Nations Synagogue, Prophet Temitope Joshua, aka TB Joshua, says her husband’s death is an act from God.

This is what the widow said on Wednesday June 9th as a delegate of the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Under the direction of the Interior Commissioner Prince Anofiu Elegushi, she paid a condolence visit at Ikotun in Lagos, reports The Punch .

TB Joshua died on Saturday , June 5th in Lagos at the age of 57.

In an address to the officials of the state government, the bereaved said that the death of her husband came as no surprise to her.

“What happened was an act of God. There is time for everything, as my husband would say. That was the word I knew very well from him. He was known for this job. That’s what he lived for. He would die for that.

“So it wasn’t a surprise to me. I wasn’t surprised when it happened. As we all know, he was on duty that day. That was it.”

The widow urged Governor Sanwo-Olu to actively attend her husband’s funeral and stated that details would be released soon, reported The Nation .

“We are here on the instructions of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, to pay a condolence visit and pray to our family beloved pastor and prophet TB Joshua. ”

In other related news, a Cameroonian sand artist, Sir Kobe Williams, paid tribute to the deceased Prophet TB Joshua by painting a portrait of the man of God drew with sand and ashes.

A Facebook user known as Philip O jealao was identified, shared photos of the portrait and the artist in the social media platform.

The beautiful portrait makes the deceased prophet smile and a note under the portrait wrote:

“Make Jesus the center of your life.”
