Davido, expressing his readiness for the upcoming Osun state gubernatorial election scheduled for July expressed, declaring that politics in the country is only for the brave.
He wrote on Twitter:
“Nigerian politics is not for weak nerves …. FIELD READY.”
He added that he was ready to set off to campaign in his uncle Ademola Adeleke’s sorpport.
Davido, who is from Osun State, has continued to show massive support for his uncle’s gubernatorial ambitions on the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) platform.

As the 2022 Osun gubernatorial election draws near, 500 members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are from the party converted to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Members joined the ruling APC in Ayedaade County, Osun State.
In a statement signed by Ismail Omipidan, the chief press officer of the Osun state governor, said the PDP-Ü Defectors attributed their decision to leave the party to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s modest achievements.
