Kano – The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has advised President Muhammadu Buhari not to use Nnamdi Release Kanu, leader of the indigenous peoples of Biafra (IPOB).
Recall that Buhari had announced that he would release Kanu, who is in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Kanu is accused of murdering more than 1,230 northerners
Suleiman said that between 2017 and 2020, Kanu argued against his release, killing more than 1,230 northerners living in parts of Nigeria.
He added that several million worth of stores, real estate and valuable assets of the northerners in the southeastern cities were destroyed at the direction of Kanu during the same period.

He said any attempt by Buhari to release Kanu without prosecution and pu terminate him < i> “would inadvertently reduce Nigeria to a totally lawless state where criminals of all shapes and sizes commit crimes against the country and then ask their leaders to stand up for them”.
