A brawl between two lovers ended after one night in the death of one of them in the early hours of Sunday.
Eastern Cape Police said a 29-year-old woman had been arrested for killing her 34 -year-old fiancé stabbed to death in Elephant Park, Gqeberha.
The couple returned home after a party around 3am and started fighting, they said.
“The suspect ordered her boyfriend to leave. It is further alleged that the boyfriend…began to attack her and during the physical altercation he was stabbed in the chest and back.
“He succumbed to his wounds at the clinic,” police said.
The woman has been arrested and is expected to appear in Motherwell Magistrates Court on Monday.
