Bullet-riddled Durban couple drive to police station for help

A Durban couple drove to their local police station for help after multiple gunshots on Friday morning.

Garith Jamieson of ALS Paramedics said they had received multiple calls about a shooting in Wentworth, south of Durban , around 7 am.

Paramedics were dispatched to the police station to treat the injured husband and wife, who are believed to be in their late 30s and early 40s.

“They received gunshot wounds and went to the station themselves to get help.”

Both the husband and wife required extended life support paramedic intervention for their serious injuries.

They were stabilized at the scene and taken to an emergency hospital nearby.

Jamieson said the cause of the shooting was unknown and police are investigating.
