Four suspects suspected of kidnapping a Cape Town man and demanding ransom from his family have been arrested by Western Cape Police.
The successful rescue of the victim was thanks to the investigative work of a special task force, organized crime and criminal intelligence agencies.
Police Spokesman Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi said the 31-year-old victim was abducted from a Du Noon business premises at 5:30 pm Tuesday.

“The suspects contacted the relatives and demanded a ransom in exchange for the victim’s release. The team followed all information at their disposal to locate the victim.
“On Wednesday the team entered a residential building on Winnie Mandela Road in N2 Gateway, Langa, where they found the victim in the bedroom.
“Four suspects, aged between 22 and 26, were arrested and detained.”
