A Durban man died after being hit by a truck at his place of work on Friday and being dragged a few meters.
ALS Paramedics spokesman Garrith Jamieson said the accident had happened after 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Park.
“ALS paramedics received numerous calls from the company asking for urgent assistance as one of the workers was hit by a truck and was dragged a few feet was.”
Paramedics found the man, believed to be in his 30s, with serious injuries.
“Paramedics could do nothing more for the man and he was pronounced dead on the spot explained.
“At this time, the events leading up to the incident are unknown. However, SAPS was on site and will investigate further.”
