Joburg woman survives ‘freezing’ night unconscious at farm after passing out on bike ride

A woman was found on a farm in Rietvlei, south of Johannesburg, after disappearing while on a bike ride on Sunday.

The woman apparently fell out while walking after the ride and was passed out for a large part the night before she was found.

Nerina Rosemary Croeser announced on Sunday that her cousin Kim Croeser had disappeared, which sparked a search for the 47-year-old.

On Monday she announced that Kim had been found.

“They found our cousin. She is dizzy and confused in the hospital. Will let you guys know as soon as we know. Thank you for all of your help, “she wrote.

According to a previous post, Croeser went missing around 9:30 am on Sunday after setting off on a bike ride. It was later discovered that she had been walking after the ride with her bike attached to the car.

She was reunited with her family after being passed out for hours on a cold night

Elowayne Gouws Fox Security, emergency manager, said the search began Sunday evening and continued into the wee hours of the morning on Monday.

Fox Tactical units began searching for bike lanes on foot and sought assistance from The Search – and rescue unit of the police K9 and the AfriForum Alberton are helping with a thermal imaging drone.

“We searched with more people and she was on one of the paths on Monday at around 2.30 am. She slipped and fell, hit her head on a rock, and felt dizzy. She said she decided to lie down and wake up many hours later.

“She was disoriented and didn’t know what was going on around her. She had a concussion and an injury to her left hip. She was Taken to the hospital. Her sister and mother were there.

“It was very cold. The temperatures were very low. We didn’t think we would find her alive. It was freezing,” said Gouws. < / p>
