On Thursday, police identified the man caught with drugs worth R13 million this week as 37-year-old Nkosingiphile Wiseman Nkosi.
Nkosi appeared at Springs Magistrates Court on Thursday.
“He is accused of dealing and/or possessing drugs worth R13 million. He was arrested on July 5 on the N12 towards Springs when police stopped his car and found the drugs,” said National Prosecutors Spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana.

She said the matter had been postponed until July 14 to verify his address.
Nkosi will remain in custody.
Officers from the SAPS Organized Crime Investigation Headquarters and Intelligence agents from the Transnational Drug Trafficking and Gangs Division, along with members of the K9 West Rand Unit, carried out the seizure and arrest.
Police sources said, the suspect was arrested just a few hours after entering South Africa from Mozambique.
