In late 2009, a serial predator was hunting in towns around Gauteng. The man, disguised and armed with a gun, forced young girls into his vehicle, raped them and released them in rural areas.
However, it would not be long before it would escalate in the most horrific way, imaginable.
Because many of his crimes took place on a Sunday, Jaco Steyn became known as “the Sunday rapist,” but that moniker belied the true devastation he wreaked on countless victims.
