Eskom says the level 4 load shedding is in effect until Friday at 16:00 instead of the announced increased level 6.
“Overnight we have sufficiently replenished our emergency reserves, by level 6 we have not to need load shedding in the morning. However, level 6 load shedding is carried out from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in order not to further exhaust the reserves. Stage 4 will run until 4pm,” said the electricity supplier.
