The trial was adjourned to Monday after attorney Zandile Mshololo, representing one of the defendants, said she needed clarification from the National Attorney’s Office on a second indictment, opened against those who were in the house when the trial took place Footballer was shot dead.

Mshololo asked the state to allow the state to cross-examine a state witness, Sergeant Thabo Mosia to give her more time to study the second file.

Teffo first revealed the existence of two separate files last week.

He said two investigators investigating Meyiwa’s murder were in possession of two files with different accounts of what happened and involving different groups of suspects . This was unprecedented.

Khumalo, through her attorney Magdalene Moonsamy, said the allegations were baseless and unclear.
