The search is on for a Powerball player who won a whopping 126 million rubles in Friday night’s drawing.
The Johannesburg player has become the latest multi-millionaire to win a life-changing jackpot on the back of a ticket has cracked from R22.50.
Ithuba said the lucky winner has not yet claimed his jackpot from drawing 1303.
“The winning ticket was awarded with a stake of R22.50 Select border using Quick Select. The player is urged to come to Ithuba offices to collect their winnings.”
Ithuba said Friday’s drawing caused a stir on social media, with people commenting on the huge total up for grabs.
“We congratulate our youngest multi-millionaire and urge them to come forward and claim their winnings,” said Charmaine Mabuza, CEO of Ithuba.
Mabuza urged all players to check their tickets.
” We urge other players to continue checking their tickets as there are a number of unclaimed tickets that will expire in six months. Winning tickets are valid for 365 days from the drawing date,” she said.
